A quick guide to use your Ingenico 2500 card machine

 

How your machine works

Turn on your machine

To turn on your machine hold down the green key

 

Reboot or turn off your machine

To reboot your machine press the yellow key and dot keys simultaneously
(only if on charge or plugged in) or
In order to switch off your machine press the yellow key and dot keys
simultaneously (only if not on charge and unplugged)

 

Reprint your last receipt

To reprint your last receipt press the 1 key and then the green key (Should
your setup include Manager Functions, you would need to
enter the Manager/Supervisor
PIN in order to complete the
reprint)

 

Reprint your last banking slip

To reprint your last banking slip, press the 2 key and then the green key
(Should your setup include Manager Functions, you would need to enter the
Manager/Supervisor PIN in order to complete the reprint)

 

Bank your machine

To bank your machine press the 3 key, enter your Manager/Supervisor PIN
then press the green key

 

Parameter download

To do a Parameter download press the 4 key and then the
green  key Once you see the ‘GPRS’ logo appear on your
screen, you are successfully connected to the 3G network

 

View your card machine details

To view your card machine details press the 5 key

 

Note: The MID (Merchant ID), TID (Terminal ID) and SN (Serial Number) are details we require in order to identify
you when attempting to troubleshoot telephonically.

You would also need to quote your Merchant ID/number when emailing us for required services e.g.: paper rolls,
additional machines etc.
