Before signing with Sureswipe, electrical supplies franchise ACDC was making between R4 million and R5 million in monthly sales from card payments. In 2019, this figure has grown to R18 million.

Four years ago, ACDC switched from its card payment machine provider to Sureswipe – and it wasn’t a question of price, says ACDC Express GM Morné Coetzee. “We’d rather work with a company that’s more hands-on and understands our needs at a fundamental level,” he explains.

Implementing Loyalty in their independently-owned electrical retail stores has also allowed ACDC to increase its customer database and have a clearer understanding of its customer profiles and their spending habits. “Now we can tailor-make quarterly specials according to these customer insights,” says Morné.
